Stress Linearization in ANSYS Workbench compatible with ASME BPVC
Stress Linearization is a technique used to decompose a through-thickness elastic stress field into equivalent membrane, bending, and peak stresses. The ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) identifies the failure mode for each stress category to ensure acceptable pressure vessel designs.
In this webinar we will review stress linearization concept, 2D and 3D stresses linearized methodology in ANSYS and ASME stress linearization requirement.
